Our senior partner Ms Tan Hwang-Ee was invited to attend the formation and opening ceremony of The Belt and Road Legal Service Research Association at Macau on 18th – 20th March 2018. She was also appointed as the Deputy Secretary of the said Association. This event was held in the City University of Macau. Our Ms Tan gave a speech introducing MM2H. Also attended were Ministers, Chancellor of City University, Dean of Law Faculty of City University, law professors, Lawyers Associations’ chairman from different province from mainland China, chief legal advisors from limited companies of different industries, lawyers from different provinces from China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, etc.
We also received visits from foreign lawyers e.g. China, Macau, Australia, etc. In the coming future, we expect more visits from other countries/districts around the world. These are welcome developments that should be embraced by current legal practitioners. We are working towards enabling our lawyers to export their services to clients across the nation and the globe.
With our network across the globes we are working hard to provide more promising services to our clients, e.g. to assist our developer clients to promote their housing development projects around the world.
Further to the above, we were invited to tour a few provinces in China in order to exchange our expertise and to promote the role of Malaysian Lawyers at international level. As such, we would like to extend this golden opportunity to our valued corporate clients, more particularly Developers, Medical Service Providers, Educators, etc.
